Graduates of the M.A. programme in Czech Language – Specialized Study have profound knowledge in the field of linguistic Czech Studies. They are able to adopt an independent scholarly approach and are qualified predominantly for academic careers in research institutes and universities.
Graduates gain a thorough grounding in speech production and perception, phonological description and current approaches; they develop skills in the acoustic and auditory analysis of speech, and statistical analysis of phonetic data. Given each graduate’s individual professional focus, s/he gains advanced knowledge in interdisciplinary aspects of speech communication.
