Is able to apply integrative approaches within problem-oriented interdisciplinary research. Through utilization of field and qualitative research methods, historical sources and geoinformation technologies, interprets landscape changes on various scales, in diverse periods, environmental and societal contexts; understands the nature of environmental and societal risks; develops synthesizing conclusions on transformations of landscapes and nature-society interactions.

Is prepared to work in academic, decisive, commercial and non-profit sectors.
