The graduate of the doctoral study of demography is a specialist in the field of Demography and Population Studies. S/he addresses demographic issues in the context of social, economic, cultural, political, medical and/or environmental developments. S/he processes various types of population analyzes, model projections and forecasts, including derived estimates of future infrastructural needs.

S/he analyzes the population climate and proposes concepts and specific public policy measures. S/he works as an expert in research, state administration, especially at the level of ministries and in the State Statistical Service (demographic, health and social statistics), as well as in the corporate sector, especially in large companies, and consulting, marketing and other agencies.

S/he is qualified for professional work in institutions.
