Experimental surgery is one of the fundamental pillars of the historical and current advances in clinical medicine. During the course of study a PhD graduate of the Experimental Surgery acquires a scientific erudition with his/her own experimental scientific research work.

The graduate will be able to use the acquired knowledge and skills in experimental surgery and frontier scientific disciplines in his/her own future independent work. He/she will be able to design, implement, evaluate and critically evaluate projects, prepare publications, present the results of his/her work, and transfer the results to clinical practice.
