Graduates will acquire complex knowledge in a wide range of contemporary physical, social, regional geography and cartography and methods necessary for the evaluation of spatial phenomena. They will comprehend the relationships between natural and social elements creating the living environment, learn how to analyse and explain processes at various geographical scales from a complex (spatial) perspective.

The graduate is able to work both independently and in teams, using graphic and cartographic expressions to synthetically present the results, which serve as a basis for spatial decision-making. Most graduates continue in one of the geographic master’s degree programs.

In practice, graduates are successfully employed in a number of professions in the public sector, commercial companies and non-profit organizations.
