Profiles

Graduates are prepared to perform research and practical activities in all fields of physical geography, including geomorphology, hydrology, climatology, meteorology, geoecology, biogeography, pedogeography, and general and regional physical geography. They are able to solve complex issues of the integration of the natural environment and society, and they are qualified to use GIS, remote sensing and other methods of geoinformatics.

They find employment in research institutes, universities, administrative authorities and institutions that are engaged in monitoring and researching the dynamics of physical geographical processes and changes in the natural environment in relation to human activities, including natural hazards and risks and nature and landscape protection.
