Study programme at Faculty of Science |
🇨🇿 NMgr.

Profiles

Graduates of the study program gain advanced knowledge and skills in both theoretical and applied geoinformatics, they are up-to-date in research and development connected to spatial data acquisition, distribution, analysis, modelling, and visualisation. The graduates are able to solve basic/intermediate programming tasks in GIS, to apply advanced geostatistical methods and to practically use spatial databases.

They have knowledge and experience in topographic and thematic digital cartography, and they are able to create a wide spectrum of digital and analogue maps and 3D visualisations. The graduates are familiar with advanced remote sensing and GNSS methods.

They can use the gained knowledge in governmental institutions and industry dealing with geoinformation and cartography as well as in research and education institutions.
