The graduates acquire basic knowledge and practical skills in those aspects of Earth and life sciences which are focused on evolution of ecosystems in the Earth history and the mutual interactions of the geosphere and the biosphere. The bachelor grade enables work in institutions dealing with collections and organization of scientific data and material, and in popularization of sciences and public relations (museums, public administration, educational institutions, editorial houses or media, non-governmental organizations), in private sectors in companies specialized in environmental problems and ecotourism.

The bachelor grade also enables to continue in study (magister stage) mainly of the Earth and life sciences.
