Theology of Christian Traditions

Study programme at Protestant Theological Faculty |
🇨🇿 Bc.

Profiles

Graduates are familiar with the history of Christian thinking in its sociological and psychological contexts, and with the form of the principal Christian traditions and their spiritualities. They are proficient in the hermeneutics of Christian texts, including biblical ones (in modern languages), are familiar with Christian moral teaching, and are capable of applying it to current social issues.

They are ready to take part in interdisciplinary dialogue from the position of ecumenically oriented Christianity. They can make use of their studies primarily as a "second expertise", supplementing and extending their own profession, in humanitarian organisations, church administration, and specialist church bodies.
