Graduates of the study program Internal Diseases master the principles of scientific work - setting the objective and hypothesis of the problem solved, preparing their own data for statistical analysis and critical evaluation of acquired knowledge in the light of the current level of scientific knowledge. He/she is able to present oral results in scientific congresses and publish the research results in high-profile journals, including their critical transfer to clinical practice.

The research topic is mainly diagnostics, etiology and pathogenesis, prognosis and therapy of internal diseases, in all branches of internal medicine. Completion of doctoral studies will enable successful doctoral students to continue their research and further professional growth.
