Graduates have acquired an all-round knowledge of political, social, economic and cultural developments primarily in Czech society, with the stress on early or more recent Czech history, depending on the chosen specialization. They will also be prepared for employment as specialist researchers in their particular field, i.e. they will be able to independently deal with specialist and research tasks involved in projects or at research centres and institutes of higher education, or to popularize research findings as authors.

This course provides the basics for employment in scientific, cultural, informational, educational, political and state (particularly diplomatic) institutions, mass media and managerial positions.
