Graduates are able to independently apply and develop their advanced knowledge of the German language, cultural and literary history and current issues of German-speaking countries. They are well informed about the history of German language and culture in the Bohemian lands and Czech-German cultural relations.

Their wide knowledge of the German-speaking area allows them to work in cultural and political institutions, public service, media, tourism, or as translators.
