Graduates are able to independently apply and develop their advanced knowledge of Danish / Norwegian / Swedish language, cultural and literary history and present issues of Scandinavian countries. They can pursue careers in companies trading with Scandinavia, cultural and political institutions, public service, media, tourism or as translators.
The graduate is highly proficient in English at C2 level of the CEFR and has detailed knowledge of British and Commonwealth literatures and studies. He/she can work as a literary translator, a publisher’s editor, in the media, diplomacy, etc., and is qualified to enrol in prestigious PhD programmes.
