Graduates are able to analyse literature, and other spheres of culture as well, with a focus on the structure of literary texts and the historical, genre-based and theoretical contexts. Graduates are prepared to enter doctoral programmes in comparative and national literatures as well as to seek employment in the spheres of media and cultural institutions.

Graduates meet the requirements of international standards (French at EFRL level C2). They have a command of genre conventions in translation into Czech and into French, can use translation software and are able to defend their translation solutions. Graduates are able to adapt to requirements of practical careers or to study for a higher degree.
