Graduates are able to analyse literature, and other spheres of culture as well, with a focus on the structure of literary texts and the historical, genre-based and theoretical contexts. Graduates are prepared to enter doctoral programmes in comparative and national literatures as well as to seek employment in the spheres of media and cultural institutions.

Graduates have a grounding in communication theory and new media and can critically reflect the contemporary media culture with a special emphasis on modern philosophical and social aspects of communication, new information technologies and information literacy. Moreover, they are able to integrate science, technology and humanities.
