Graduates possess a language competence in Hungarian at C1 –C2 level (according to the CEFR) and theoretical knowledge of the variability of the Hungarian language, are well versed in Hungarian literature, and are able to integrate their competences and Hungary-related knowledge when processing and critically evaluating information. They have a theoretical background in translation and interpretation and are able to translate between Hungarian and Czech.
They are knowledgeable in the current trends in Hungarian studies and have a command of another Central European language at least at the A2 level (according to the CEFR). Graduates are, therefore, prepared for the needs of various professional fields, such as cultural and social activities, media, education, civil society and consulting for commercial as well as non-profit organizations.
