Profiles

Graduates possess a language competence in Polish at C2 level (according to the CEFR) and theoretical knowledge of the variability of the Polish language, are well versed in Polish literature, and are able to integrate their competences and Poland-related knowledge when processing and critically evaluating information. They have a theoretical background in translation and interpretation and are able to translate between Polish and Czech.

They are knowledgeable in the current trends in Polish studies and have a command of another Central European language at least at the A2 level (according to the CEFR). Graduates are, therefore, prepared for the needs of various professional fields, such as cultural and social activities, media, education, civil society and consulting for commercial as well as non-profit organizations.
