Profiles

Graduates possess a language competence in Slovak at C2 level (according to the CEFR) and theoretical knowledge of the variability of Slovak, are well versed in Slovak culture, literature and history, and are able to integrate these competences and knowledge when processing and critically evaluating information. They have a theoretical grounding in translation and interpretation and are able to translate between Slovak and Czech.

They are knowledgeable in Czech-Slovak relations and have a basic command of another Central European language at least at the A2 level (according to the CEFR). Graduates are, therefore, prepared for the purposes of various professional fields, such as cultural and social activities, media, education, civil society and consulting for commercial as well as non-profit organizations.
