Through the use of scholarly approaches and scientific methods, the graduate is able to analyze, both independently and in collaboration with others, past and present types of social phenomena and processes of various sorts. He/She is able to present the results in Czech, English, and often other languages.

The graduate is equipped to undertake employment requiring independent conceptual thought and judgment, structured and logical assessment, and broad knowledge. Examples of suitable professional positions include researchers, university lecturers, analysts, and specialists in the state sector, international organizations, as well as the private sphere.
