The graduate is a specialist in English philology with comprehensive knowledge of the English language, linguistic, Anglophone literatures and methodology of teaching English. He/she is also familiar with a broad range of scientific methods, tools and approaches, both traditional and modern and interdisciplinary, and will be able to work with diverse electronic sources and computer-based instruments.
The graduate has deep insight into second language acquisition and is able to understand it in numerous relevant contexts. He/she has good practical knowledge of the English language, literature written in English and has a good grasp of the theory of education, theory of teaching and the school system in all its levels and branches, and is aware of the needs and profile characteristics of diverse student populations.
