The graduate has a comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, especially inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry and biochemistry. The graduate is also educated in mathematics, cell biology, human physiology, microbiology, immunology, pharmacology and spectral methods used for the characterization of organic compounds.

The graduate has an overview of chemical mechanisms of the life processes in human body, their influencing by drugs, and a detailed knowledge of techniques allowing to monitor living organisms after the pharmacological intervention. The graduate is well-prepared for master degree studies as well as for the employment in chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories of basic and applied research, in government departments or in private companies providing chemicals, pharmaceutical products and laboratory materials.
