The graduate has acquired knowledge in the history and methodology of Religious Studies, doctrine and ritual practice of monotheistic religions. He or she is able to understand the development of these religious traditions and their varieties. He or she is familiar with the form of contemporary living religions and with the various forms of religion in the post-modern age.

The graduate has acquired knowledge of Judaism as a religious system with a focus on the specific issues of Judaism and its sources, Jewish traditions and customs and synagogue liturgy. The graduate is provided with knowledge of biblical and modern languages, which is a prerequisite to the continuing study of Jewish Studies.
