The graduate has a comprehensive knowledge of the contemporary Czech. He or she is capable of using the language in a sophisticated way, and of practically applying his or her theoretical knowledge. The graduate also has an understanding of the history of Czech literature and literary theory, and of the basic methods of literary studies and their practical application.
Graduates have a grounding in the political, social, economic and cultural development of European society in particular. They have all the vocational qualifications for practical work in the sphere of museology and culture, and, at the same time, they are well prepared for further study not only in History, but also in related subjects.
