The graduate has communication competences in both working languages (English at EFRL level C1) and basic translation and interpreting skills which he/she is expected to be able to develop rapidly according to the requirements of the client / employer. The graduate’s broad general knowledge foundation meets the requirements for higher degree studies.
Graduates have a basic command of Dutch equivalent to the B2 level of the CEFR and a grounding in the life and institutions, literature, culture and history of Dutch speaking countries. They can pursue careers in companies trading with these countries, cultural institutions, state administration, the media, the diplomatic service and in tourism.
