The graduate of the bachelor study programme East European Studies with specialization of Lithuanian is equipped with knowledge of Lithuanian language which matches the B2 level of the European Reference Frame of Languages. He disposes of knowledge about the area of East Europe. He disposes of necessary preconditions to continue in the follow-up M.A. study programmes.
Graduates have a basic command of Danish / Norwegian / Swedish equivalent to the B2 level of the CEFR and a grounding in Scandinavian life and institutions, literature, culture and history. They can pursue careers in companies trading with Scandinavia, cultural institutions, state administration, the media, the diplomatic service and in tourism.
