The graduate of the bachelor study programme East European Studies with specialization of Ukrainian is equipped with knowledge of Ukrainian language which matches the B2 level of the European Reference Frame of Languages. He disposes of knowledge about the area of East Europe. He disposes of necessary preconditions to continue in the follow-up M.A. study programmes.

The graduate has a comprehensive knowledge of the contemporary Czech. He or she is capable of using the language in a sophisticated way, and of practically applying his or her theoretical knowledge. The graduate also has an understanding of the history of Czech literature and literary theory, and of the basic methods of literary studies and their practical application.
