Graduates have a grounding in prehistoric and historical archaeology in the Czech Lands and in Central Europe. They are familiar with the investigative procedures in contemporary archaeology. The BA programme provides a qualification for work in archaeological conservation and museums; however, its main purpose is to provide a basis for further study.
Graduates have a grounding in the political, social, economic and cultural development of European society in particular. They have all the vocational qualifications for practical work in the sphere of museology and culture, and, at the same time, they are well prepared for further study not only in History, but also in related subjects.
