Graduates have a grounding in prehistoric and historical archaeology in the Czech Lands and in Central Europe. They are familiar with the investigative procedures in contemporary archaeology. The BA programme provides a qualification for work in archaeological conservation and museums; however, its main purpose is to provide a basis for further study.
The graduate has communication competences in both working languages (English at EFRL level C1) and basic translation and interpreting skills which he/she is expected to be able to develop rapidly according to the requirements of the client / employer. The graduate’s broad general knowledge foundation meets the requirements for higher degree studies.
