Graduates have a grounding in prehistoric, medieval and post-medieval archaeology in the Czech Lands and in the principal issues in Central European archaeology. They are familiar with the primary investigative procedures in contemporary archaeology.

Therefore, the BA programme provides a qualification for work in archaeological conservation and museums; however, its main purpose is to provide a basis for further study.
