Graduates have a more advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of archaeology in the Czech Lands and are able to view archaeology from a European perspective. They are equipped with the basic critical apparatus, an awareness of the potential and limitations of archaeological research, and skills in independent work in this field.

They have a grounding in the interdisciplinary relations of archaeology and other humanities and sciences. Graduates can seek employment in specialised archaeological heritage organisations, research institutes and museums.
