The graduate of the Follow-up M.A. study programme of the East European Studies with specialization Ukrainian is equipped with knowledge of Ukrainian language which matches the C2 level of the European Reference Frame of Languages. He/she is professionally prepared to work in the multilingual environment of the region and has knowledge for potential doctoral study.

Graduates are able to analyse literature, and other spheres of culture as well, with a focus on the structure of literary texts and the historical, genre-based and theoretical contexts. Graduates are prepared to enter doctoral programmes in comparative and national literatures as well as to seek employment in the spheres of media and cultural institutions.
