Graduates have a basic knowledge of the Chinese language and culture and are prepared to continue their studies in a master’s programme in Sinology. They have a grounding in information sources about China and an ability to use these sources independently.

They are qualified for careers in settings that require a knowledge of modern Chinese and Chinese history and culture.
