Graduates of the Greek and Latin Studies Bachelor’s degree programme, with a specialisation in Latin Language and Literature, have achieved good language skills in classical Latin. They have a grounding in the fundamental areas and stages of ancient culture, and of ancient Rome in particular, enabling them to properly interpret Latin texts in their cultural context.
Graduates have a grounding in prehistoric and historical archaeology in the Czech Lands and in Central Europe. They are familiar with the investigative procedures in contemporary archaeology. The BA programme provides a qualification for work in archaeological conservation and museums; however, its main purpose is to provide a basis for further study.
