Profiles

Having received training in linguistics, literary studies and history, graduates are specialists in the Polish language, literature and history and have a grounding in Polish geography, culture and society. Graduates have Polish language skills at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Graduates additionally have a knowledge of another area of the Central European region – Czech, German, Hungarian, Polish, or Romani studies – literatures of Central Europe, the history of Central Europe or Slavic studies, depending on their choice. Graduates can apply this knowledge when interpreting developments in Central Europe and analysing Polish texts and speech of various genres.

Graduates are also able to compose and produce texts and speech in Polish for various communicative purposes.
