Graduates are familiar with issues related to the Roma in Central Europe. They have acquired a practical knowledge of North Central Romani (at B2 level of CEFR) and a grounding in the history and culture of the Roma in former Czechoslovakia. They have been trained to respect differences in culture, language and communication.
Graduates of the bachelor’s programme in General Linguistics have a solid understanding of the main aspects of verbal communication. They understand the nature and breadth of the field, including both the main domains of linguistic analysis and their interdisciplinary aspects, and are equipped with basic skills required in present-day linguistic research.
