Profiles

Graduates are familiar with issues discussed in social sciences in relation to the Roma with a focus on Central European regions. They have acquired a practical knowledge of North Central Romani (at B2 level of CEFR) and general cultural and communication skills to actively participate in the Romani environment.

They have a basic theoretical grounding in the language and culture at linguistic and anthropological level. They have a grounding in the history, culture and sub-ethnic groups of the Roma in former Czechoslovakia, as well as an awareness of the broader linguistic, cultural and historical context of Central Europe.

They have been trained to accept non-conformity and otherness and to respect differences in culture, language and communication.
