The graduate of the specialization Egyptology has good knowledge of the most important aspects of the culture of ancient Egypt (archaeology, material culture, economy, written culture, religion), and of all stages of the language of ancient Egypt and ancient Egyptian writing systems.
Graduates have a grounding in the basic theoretical problems of modern medieval science. They have advanced methodological skills and are able to formulate their own scientific opinions. This qualifies them primarily for practical work in the fields of culture and heritage care and state administration in these sectors.
