The graduate of the specialization Egyptology has good knowledge of the most important aspects of the culture of ancient Egypt (archaeology, material culture, economy, written culture, religion), and of all stages of the language of ancient Egypt and ancient Egyptian writing systems.
Graduates have a good knowledge of history, and can analyse issues independently as well as from a comparative perspective. They have a grounding in the subject area of historical sciences and related disciplines in domestic and international contexts. They are qualified for careers in scientific institutions, state administration and businesses, both national and supranational.
