Graduates of the Master programme have extensive theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills in the areas of German as well as general linguistics, the history of literature written in German, and the didactics of German. The graduates will find employment in grades five to nine of elementary schools, in cultural and educational institutions, in media and in public service in positions that require deeper knowledge of the German language and the German culture of history and politics.

Besides these, the graduates can go further to post-graduate studies and research.
