Graduates meet the requirements of international standards (German at EFRL level C2). They have a command of genre conventions in translation into Czech and into German, can use translation software and are able to defend their translation solutions. Graduates are able to adapt to requirements of practical careers or to study for a higher degree.
Graduates are able to independently apply and develop their advanced knowledge of German language, cultural and literary history and present issues of German-speaking countries. Their wide knowledge of the German-speaking area allows them to work in cultural and political institutions, public service, massmedia, tourism, or as translators.
