The graduate in Comparative Literature is able to analyse the material of distinct national literatures or historical eras and to reach into other spheres of culture and media. His/her orientation aims at general, conceptual knowledge that enables him/her to analyse literary texts, their structure and roles within the historical, genre-based and theoretical contexts.

The graduate has been prepared to enter doctoral programmes in comparative and distinct national literatures, aesthetics, history of arts, cultural studies etc., as well as to seek employment in the spheres of media and culture.
