The graduates in this programme possess extensive knowledge of mathematics and theoretical physics or of astronomy and astrophysics, respectively, which is deepest in particular in areas related to their Ph.D. thesis. They gained a precious experience with an original, creative research.

The spectrum of their specializations is very broad. The graduates find research jobs at universities, institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and other scientific institutions both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The universality of their education and their mastery of computer techniques endow them with a considerable flexibility when solving particular problems so they realize themselves also in ‘practically’ oriented jobs requiring logical thinking and analysis of complex tasks.
