Profiles

Graduates have mastered empirical linguistic methodology; they know how to use basic statistical methods and they have deep knowledge of linguistic terminology in Czech and English. They orient themselves in the current trends in linguistic research and are familiar with various empirical methods. Graduates also can read and interpret scientific literature in English.

Graduates have language skills in Polish at C2 level (CEFR) and theoretical knowledge of the variability of Polish, are well versed in Polish literature, and are able to integrate their competences and Poland-related knowledge when critically evaluating information. Graduates are, thus, prepared for careers in commercial as well as non-profit domains.
