Graduates have mastered empirical linguistic methodology; they know how to use basic statistical methods and they have deep knowledge of linguistic terminology in Czech and English. They orient themselves in the current trends in linguistic research and are familiar with various empirical methods. Graduates also can read and interpret scientific literature in English.

The graduate is equipped with knowledge of Russian language which matches the C2 level of the European Reference Frame of Languages. He/she is professionally prepared to work in the multilingual environment of the region and has knowledge for potential doctoral study.
