Graduates have mastered empirical linguistic methodology; they know how to use basic statistical methods and they have deep knowledge of linguistic terminology in Czech and English. They orient themselves in the current trends in linguistic research and are familiar with various empirical methods.
Based on their focus, graduates get deep understanding of Czech language, its structure and use, they are aware of the typological differences between the languages in the world and they are able to use language corpora. Graduates also can read and interpret scientific literature in English.
