The graduate has acquired the basics of geological sciences and archeology of the classical world. The emphasis is on both theoretical and practical studies.
The gained knowledge and skills will allow the graduate to participate actively in the geological and the archaeological field work, including documentation and basic interpretation of the rock environment, the archaeological contexts, and the related findings – all against the specific cultural-historical background. Supervised by a senior researcher, the graduate will be able to conduct further analytical processing and scientific interpretation of both the geological and the archaeological findings.
