A graduate of the bachelor’s degree programme in Sociology and Social Policy can carry out independent analyses of social phenomena and problems of modern societies independently rigorously and ethically. He/she has knowledge of significant theories in fields of sociology and social policy and understands their significance for social practice.
He/she can design and carry out qualitative, quantitative or mixed-method sociological research and propose an evidence-informed solution for social problems. The graduate understands the system of social policy in broader context, its logic and mechanisms of operation.
He/she can participate in analytical and conceptual work in different fields and at various levels of social policy and take part in policy implementation.
