Graduates understand the key sociological concepts, are able to describe and explain them and to apply them in the examination of social reality. They have an understanding of key theoretical approaches in sociology, key authors and their concepts, including contemporary approaches and their historical origins.
Graduates are moreover able to apply other multidisciplinary approaches to the examination and explanation of social phenomena. They understand principles of social research and are able to autonomously perform tasks in both quantitative and qualitative social research.
Graduates are able to plan research strategies, formulate and assign research tasks, and to perform basic analyses and interpretation of obtained empirical data.
