The graduate has knowledge of basic and clinical pharmacology covering whole subject and s/he is capable of active usage of these knowledge in his research. S/he uses appropriate in vitro and in vivo models together with molecular, histological, analytical, and statistical methods.

S/he understand principles of experimental and clinical evaluation of drug pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. S/he critically assess new findings in accordance with principles of evidence-based medicine and is able to: elaborate review of literature, judge scientometrics, design a research project, prepare methodical plan of research, manage small team of scientists, organize co-operations, discuss results, and present them as a lecture or article in Czech and English language.

The graduate is also capable of preparation of grant proposal.
