Graduates of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Middle Eastern Studies are specialists on the history and culture of the Middle East. They have a good practical knowledge of Arabic at B1 level, a grounding in the history and current geo-political situation of the region and the major approaches to its study, and the ability to work with secondary literature.
The graduate a specialist on Jewish culture with good speaking and writing skills in Hebrew (level B1/Ramah 4). He/she has acquired good knowledge of Jewish history and contemporary Jewish culture in the diaspora and in the State of Israel.
